Quarry & Material Selection
Jura Grey is a natural sedimentary limestone quarried in China. Geological differences between quarry levels produce distinct grey, buff and weathered-face characteristics.

Six geological layers.
One natural material.
A single layer can be selected to maintain a narrower tonal range, or layers can be blended to create a livelier stone mix.
The light grey-brown selection from the first layer is commonly requested for quiet, contemporary interiors. Other layers may display stronger grey, buff or warm color ranges. Small pores or fossil features occur in some beds.
Some buyers informally refer to the stone by familiar European-style grey limestone descriptions; the actual quarry origin is China, not France.
