Natural Bedface
A naturally weathered limestone quarry surface: rusty yellow, golden-brown and darker brown outer skin over a predominantly blue-grey interior. Not a painted or artificially antiqued finish.

The original surface of the stone
Some natural bedding faces and exposed quarry skins develop earthy weathered colors. The freshly cut stone inside can be markedly cooler in tone.
In this collection, Natural Bedface identifies the retained natural layer surface where applicable. For outer surfaces weathered by long-term exposure, the more precise geological description is natural weathered face. Both are inspected rather than assumed to be identical.
- Outer face: yellow-rust, gold-brown and localized darker brown
- Fresh interior: blue-grey, cool grey and lighter grey
- Appearance: naturally mixed zones, cracks and sedimentary markings
- Applications: architectural veneer and selected exterior wall designs
